Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Modi said,
"The lady officer has joined recently. She
does not know much. We should forget
the incidence."
The Minister was asked if any iaction
would be initiated against the IPS officer.

clippings showing police brutality flashed
on the channels and websites, criticism
poured in for the lady officer from all quarters.
While the clipping has given much
fodder to the Opposition parties, it has
come as a huge embarrasment ifor the
police administration and state

Assembly’s Budget session began on Tuesday morning, members from
Opposition parties decried the
“goondaraj” unleashed by Nitish’s police
RJD’s national spokesperson and Rajya
Sabha member Ram Kripal Yadav met
the victim and slammed the Nitish
government. Yadav demanded
immediate action against the drunk
policemen as well as the SP, who slapped the woman.

slapped her. Stunned by the police action,
the agitating woman hit back the lady
SP. The lady SP later began beating up the lady as the other cops thrashed her

presence of media. However, the SP
played down the issue saying nothing of
this sort happened. Notably, the two youths were electrocuted on Monday
evening near the old byepass, after an
open underground power cable changed
water supply in the area.
